 in adding new skills to your “toolkit”?\nSeeking new ways to animate o
 ur diocesan vision in practical ways in your church and community?  \n\n
 The Community of Learning is a new educational approach to lay ministry le
 adership formation\, offered in several modules. Led by experts within the
  diocesan family\, the program is designed to equip lay leaders to be mini
 sters of reconciliation within and beyond the church.\nModule 1 – Confli
 ct: Language and Resolution\nYou will learn:\n\nPeaceful change through di
 alogue\nNon-violent language and communication\nConflict as an opportunity
  for spiritual growth\nTechniques for identifying and dealing with difficu
 lt issues\n\nYou will learn and practice how to identify conflict from the
  language used\, how to bring issues to the surface and clarify what is re
 ally going on. You will go from the session with tools and techniques to c
 onfront and resolve issues that\, if left unaddressed\, cause stress and a
 nxiety to you and others and hamper growth in your church and your life.\n

  Jull is associate professor and program head for the MA in Conflict Analy
 sis and Management program at Royal Roads University.  \nMs Emily Waterma
 n\, MA in Dispute Resolution\, is a dispute resolution adviser\, facilita
 tor and trainer specializing in work with high conflict groups in cross-cu
 ltural environments.  \nMr Wayne Stewart has served as the senior executi
 ve of three charities and has taught and coached on the lessons of Susan S
 cott's Fierce Conversations.  \nThe Rev. Selinde Krayenhoff is a highly r
 egarded teacher of and consultant in non-violent communication.  \nMs Cat
 herine Watson has extensive consulting experience in multi-party disputes\
 , environmental impact assessment and disputes\, restorative justice\, and
